Meeting to consider bills and hearing on project delivery

  • Modernizing Financial Statement Requirements

Immediately at 10:00 a.m., the Senate Transportation Committee will meet to consider the following legislation:

  • S.B. 279 (Rafferty and McGarrigle):  Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to allow full-time local police to utilize radar/LIDAR in counties of the first class, second class, second class A or third class.
  • S.B. 251 (Vulakovich):  Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to authorize all local police to use radar/LIDAR.
  • S.B. 288 (Rafferty):  Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to increase fines and penalties for violators of Pennsylvania’s “Steer Clear” law, which requires drivers to slow down and move into a lane not adjacent to an emergency response area, if possible.
  • S.B. 265 (Regan):  An Act designating the bridge carrying State Route 3012 over the Susquehanna River as the Senator Harold Mowery Market Street Bridge.
