Great group!

Required ESM Training for DGRMP Funds
Per the April 2017 PA Borough News, if your borough is involved in the maintenance of unpaved and/or low volume roads, and wants to apply for the Dirt, Gravel and Low Volume Road Maintenance Program (DGRMP), the Environmentally Sensitive Maintenance (ESM) training course is required.  Those in charge of work plan development and project implementation from the road-owning entity must attend ESM training within the past five years.  Training for Dauphin and Lebanon counties is July 12 & 13 at the Holiday Inn Grantville.  For a list of all 2017 ESM trainings, click here.  The ESM course is free to municipal, county and state agencies involved with PA’s DGRMP.  For more information, contact Roy Richardson, DGRMP Coordinator at rrichardso@pa.gov or (717) 772-2103.

PA Heritage: Wish You Were Here by Josh Stahlman, Training at Indiantown Gap
Josh Stahlman, PA State Archives archivist, wrote the “Wish You Were Here” Training at Indiantown Gap story in the Winter 2017 Pennsylvania Heritage magazine,  According to PA Heritage, “’Wish You Were Here’ is a joint feature of the PA Historical and Museum Commission’s State Historic Preservation Office and the PA State Archives, reflecting the value of postcards as tools for learning about the past.”  You can read this feature here.
